Abraham Bolden was a member of the U.S. Secret Service before the JFK Assassination who identified flaws in the President's security.
Bolden joined the Chicago branch of the U.S. Secret Service in 1960. In 1961 JFK personally invited Bolden to become part of his Secret Service Presidential detail.
Bolden became aware of severe security lapses within the U.S. Secret Service Presidential detail. He informed his superior about this but he was ignored. Later because he had done this he was demoted and removed from the Presidential detail.
Bolden had knowledge of a conspiracy to kill the President on October 30 1963 when the President was planning to visit Chicago on November 2, 1963. This threat resulted in the cancellation of JFK's November 2 trip to Chicago.
After the assassination Bolden tried to share what he knew with the Warren Commission.
In 1964 Bolden was falsely accused of Bribery and convicted upon the evidence of witnesses who later admitted they lied under oath.
There was an effort to declare Bolden insane by the U.S. Government.
