Dossier of Fleet Oil Company

I wish I could show an image of Fleet Oil Company at the top of this post like I do for most of my posts but unfortunately I cannot because I have never seen an image of this company anywhere on the internet.  So I just have to rely on text to describe this company and the limited amount of information I have been able to determine about it.

Fleet Oil Company was an oil Company in Southern California that began on March 1, 1962. The owner of Fleet Oil Company was Fleet White Sr. It was a family business owned by the White Family employing many people in California. 

The initial headquarters of Fleet Oil Company started in 1962 was in Long Beach, California which is South of Los Angeles. See below map.

At some later date, the headquarters of Fleet Oil Company moved from Long Beach to Los Angeles.  See the following newspaper clipping for evidence showing that in 1968 Fleet Oil Company was headquartered in Los Angeles.

Following is another 1968 newspaper article revealing that Fleet White Sr.'s father, Mariner Fleet White was employed as a Vice President of Fleet Oil Company. This article implies that Fleet White Sr. might not have been the first President of Fleet Oil Company.  It is possible that his father (Mariner Fleet White) was the first President of the company and that the father passed leadership of the family business to his son, Fleet White Sr.

Following is a 1979 newspaper clipping saying that Fleet White Sr. is President of Fleet Oil Company. Presumably Fleet Oil Company is still headquartered in Los Angeles at this time.

Fleet Exploration Company

Fleet Exploration Company (AKA Fleet Exploration Ltd.) was a subdivision of Fleet Oil Company involved directly in exploring for oil.  Following is a 1969 newspaper article mentioning it. This article also mentions Fleet White Sr. being President of Fleet Oil Company headquartered in Los Angeles in 1969.

Fleet White Jr.

At some point Fleet White Sr.'s son, Fleet White Jr. became employed in his father's company. Eventually Fleet White Jr. became a full partner in Fleet Oil Company.

Operations in Colorado

It is my contention, as yet unproven, that Fleet Oil Company branched out into Colorado in the early 1990's and had oil and gas operations there.  I contend that the reason why Fleet White Jr. and his wife Priscilla moved from California to Colorado was to oversee and manage the operations of Fleet Oil Company in Colorado.

It is my contention that these Colorado oil and gas operations were going on in 1996 during the time that JonBenet Ramsey met her untimely death.  It is my suspicion (not a contention) that the death of JonBenet Ramsey may have taken place at a remote oil and gas facility in Colorado owned by Fleet Oil Company. 

A Black Hole

When attempting to research this company I discovered that almost no information about it appears in any search engine I have tried researching it with. I have no idea what happened to this company since I can find no information about it. All research into Fleet Oil Company leads to a Black Hole that I am unable to penetrate.
