Search Engine information control

There is a phenomenon that I want to document on my Blog that I call Search Engine information control.  I had seen it before but forgotten about it until I just saw another example of it.  Other people have seen this phenomenon and documented it but I need to state very clearly what it is so everyone knows exactly what I am talking about and why I am talking about it.

People use Search Engines to test the validity of information they have heard

Most people including myself use Search Engines to research information so they can determine what is true and what is not true. When anyone hears something and they want to verify whether what they have heard is true or not then they go on the internet and type a search term into a Search Engine. By looking at the links that appear in the search results, the person determines the validity of the information.  If the links they see in the search engine agree with the information they have heard then they conclude that the information is true.  If the links they see in the search engine disagree with the information they have heard then they conclude that the information is false.  Are you with me so far?  This is simple enough for everyone to understand this concept.

Step back for a minute and realize what the above paragraph is really saying.  What it is saying is that Search Engines have been given the power or authority to determine what most people believe is the truth or not.  Therefore it is extremely powerful as a way to control what people believe to be the truth or not.  Just as the main stream media controls what people believe to be the truth or not by what is said to be true on the MSM, search engines control what people believe to be the truth or not by the results that come up in the search queries. You see that, right?  Understanding that the power of Search Engines is important to know before proceeding.

In a world that is honest and non corrupt, the Main Stream Media would be telling the truth to the people and it could be trusted.  But this is not the world we live in.  The world we live is dishonest and corrupt.  In a dishonest, corrupt world, the Main Stream Media tells the people whatever the Establishment wants the people to believe.  Truth is taken out of the equation and is replaced with self serving propaganda.  The American MSM is 100% this way which is why more and more people no longer trust it to be a legitimate source of truth and they go to alternative sources to find out what the truth is that they are not getting from the MSM.  And they major place they go to as an alternative source for the truth is the internet.  They look up information on the internet in Search Engines to find the truth.

In a world that is honest and non corrupt, internet would be honest and non corrupt and could be trusted to tell the truth.  But this is not the world we live in.  The world we live in is dishonest and corrupt.  In a dishonest, corrupt world, the internet is manipulated by the Establishment to make people believe what the Establishment wants them to believe (i.e. information control) and Search Engines are a major part of this manipulation.  The same people who control the MSM control what people see on the internet in their search engine results and in the following I will describe how this is done.

Pushing Disinformation on the internet

Just as it does on the Main Stream Media which it controls, the Establishment pushes disinformation on web sites on the internet that it controls. Propaganda is pushed to the people by the Establishment and the truth is suppressed. It does not require any manipulation of search engines for these Establishment results to appear in the search queries.  Any information that has been put on the internet will show up in the query results. So if the Establishment has flooded the internet with a specific story then that story is going to show up prominently in search results. It is a no brainer that this is happening all the time.

More to Come
